Ricardo Lamas Stars As ‘Conrad McGillicutty’
It’s hardly a secret that No. 3-ranked UFC featherweight Ricardo Lamas doesn’t like No. 5 Conor McGregor, who’s been getting most, if not all, of the division’s hype and coverage heading into this Sunday’s (Jan. 18, 2014) UFC Fight Night 59 main event from Boston.
Coming off of his impressive first round submission of the formerly surging Dennis Bermudez at last November 2014’s UFC 180 from Mexico City, Lamas believes that the UFC hasn’t challenged McGregor with wrestlers, and predicts that he would easily finish the “Notorious.”
He’s also apparently taken a page out of McGregor’s book to stir up some outspoken (and some would say hilarious) trash talk of his own by blasting the Irish superstar with his own character “Conrad McGillicutty.”
