UFC On FOX 14 headliner Alexander Gustafsson has long been considered one of the best in the light-heavyweight division. That being said, it wasn’t really until 2013 that “The Mauler” really got his recognition, and it wasn’t an easy task to earn it. UFC 165 went down in Toronto, Canada, and had a ton of hype behind it. 

If only we all knew how truly huge Jon Jones vs Alexander Gustafsson would actually be. The two fought to an absolutely classic tune, and the five-round war was instantly labelled the greatest 205-pound championship fight ever. Gus came so close to tasting title glory, and will fight for the second time since that September night, as he battles Anthony Johnson this Saturday (January 24th, 2015) in Sweden.

Many still believe Gus to have won against “Bones” that night, and he will set the stage for one of the biggest rematches of all time if he beats Johnson this weekend.
