Quote: ‘Conor McNugget Can Blow Me Like A Cup Of Hot Soup’
The trash talking stakes between UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor and his growing list of enemies is ever rising. It all hit the fan at the recent ‘GO BIG’ press conference, where ‘The Notorious’ put the 145-pound and 155-pound division on blast, saying he’d wreck the lightweight category when he was done at featherweight.
He made a rival of Donald Cerrone that day, as ‘Cowboy’ said he would ‘bend his little Irish ass over and kick the lucky charms out of him”. Later revealing a clothing range ‘hunting for leprechauns’, it seems Cerrone has taken to this banter with McGregor quite well. Yesterday he appeared on the Joe Rogan Podcast, and the subject once again turned to his featherweight counterpart, check out the quotes:
“I wanted to rip him so bad, I wanted to say ‘you know what Conor? You can blow me like a cup of hot soup, you son of a bitch. So what do you think about the Irish muppet coming up to 155? McNugget, I said I would kick the lucky charms out of his ass, and you wouldn’t believe the uproar from the Irish community I got from that. I was talking shit about a leprechaun, that’s like you talking bad about Santa Claus. The leprechaun is fictional, Conor is a leprechaun sitting on a big pot of gold. If you think I’m not gonna go after that pot of gold? Come on up to 155, I welcome you with open arms.”
Cerrone really isn’t holding back in his slandering of McGregor, and it’s proving to be quite entertaining. Trash talking and drama has got a little old as of late, but this is certainly still a very fun beef to follow. On to the subject of Rafael dos Anjos, Cerrone’s UFC on FOX 17 opponent, ‘Cowboy’ says that another former foe Anthony Pettis has offered to help him train for the championship bout:
“Anthony (Pettis) told me ‘hey if you want help training for dos Anjos, I hate that motherfucker, I’ll be there.’ I said ‘you know what Pettis, I might just take you up on that.'”
So an allegiance may be foming with ‘Showtime’, who destroyed Cerrone with a brutal TKO body kick back in 2013. RDA would snatch the belt from Pettis with a dominant decision at UFC 185, and now has a chance to help dethrone his Brazilian rival through helping ‘Cowboy’ train.
