The UFC Fight Night 60 main event sees a contrasting match between a former division topper coming off a bad year, to a rookie making a name for himself on a hot streak. Indeed, Benson Henderson vs Brandon Thatch could go in any direction come fight time, as both have showed proficiency in their art of choice over the years.

“Rukus” is being pegged as the better striker coming in to this fight, and you can see why fans might think that. His style of fighting is very high paced, and he like to use big knees and kicks to the head to get the job done. You could also argue that emptying the tank in round one could be very foolish against a decision-winner like “Smooth”.

Henderson may have fallen on hard times in 2014, but don’t be fooled, he didn’t win the WEC and UFC lightweight titles with good fortune. He beat some very high level competition over his storied career, and tonight (Feb. 14th, 2015) could be a big night for the Taekwondo black belt.

Of course Thatch has the hometown advantage in Broomfield, Colorado, but that doesn’t necessarily mean much if Henderson can find his rythm early and drag this fight in to the championship rounds.

So, who are you picking to win the UFC Fight Night 60 main event? “Rukus” or “Smooth”, take a vote….
