Poll: Predicting The Outcome Of UFC 179’s Main Event
The UFC is set to kick off a packed fall schedule of events with Saturday night’s (October 25, 2014) UFC 179 pay-per-view (PPV) from the Ginásio do Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes will go to war for the featherweight belt in the main event in a rematch of their first fight that Aldo won with a spectacular spinning knee knockout.
Most are predicting the improved Mendes to make it much more of a fight the second time around, but it also wouldn’t be much of a surprise to see Aldo silence his critics by putting on an explosive performance in front of his hometown fans.
