Pic: Conor McGregor Gets New ‘Notorious’ Tattoo
With Conor McGregor’s star power skyrocketing as the interim UFC featherweight champion, the ‘Notorious’ has more than enough dough to add some more notorious ink to his extensive collection of tattoos.
The polarizing Irishman recently got some lettering added to his midsection, and he posted a clear picture of it on his Instagram account today. It wasn’t nearly as drastic or large as the tiger he got tattooed in the same area earlier this spring, but it certainly does capture his last name and nickname in solid fashion:
‘Notorious’ is scheduled to face off with rival Jose Aldo in the main event of December 12’s blockbuster UFC 194 pay-per-view (PPV) from Las Vegas after their first scheduled match-up at July’s UFC 189 fell through when Aldo injured his rib training a mere two weeks before the doomed main event.
The unfortunate circumstance wasted millions of dollars and ruined the massive promotion and momentum of the UFC 189 World Championship Tour that had the bout hyped up as the quite possibly the biggest bout of all-time.
It could still reach for those lofty goals, but it seems like the MMA world is cautiously optimistic given Aldo’s lengthy injury history and the sheer amount of time left before the fight actually happens. When it does, however, McGregor will walk into the octagon with a full arsenal of tattoos to take on Aldo.
Well, at least hopefully he will.
