Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey continues to inch her way back inside the Octagon following her devastating second-round TKO loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Rousey, who suffered her first loss of her career in that bout, has not fought since then but has vowed on several occasions that she will step inside the Octagon and fight again.

Rousey was seen training at the Glendale Fighting Club in California this week with her coach Edmond Tarverdyan. Courtesy of TMZ Sports, you can see photos of Rousey training here:

Rousey is staying true to her word regarding Tarverdyan remaining her coach. Following the fight, media members, fighters, and fans questioned if Rousey should keep her coach around. Her mother came out before the fight saying that he was a “terrible” instructor who’s a “bad person.” Her mother was not even at the fight which was a first for Rousey.

Rousey and UFC President Dana White has gone on record by saying that she would return to MMA late in 2016 due to her movie schedule.

It’s expected that if Holm can defeat Miesha Tate in the co-main event of UFC 196 then she would fight Rousey this year.
