Photo: Broken Finger Forces Michelle Waterson Off UFC Hamburg
UFC strawweight Michelle Waterson may miss her UFC Fight Night 93 date on September 3rd as she has suffered an unfortunate finger injury.
While she did not officially drop out of the September contest in Hamburg, Germany, Waterson did post an X-Ray photo of the injured finger on her Instagram account which you can see here:

“So this happened on Thursday morning,” Waterson said. “The fact that I’m so close to the fight and this s—t happened just really pisses me off. I know my will is being tested, and I will push forward. My fight has definitely not been fought in the cage this last year, trust me when I say I will be better for it all.”
”The Karate Hottie’ (13-4) made her UFC debut this past July against Angela Magana at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale (TUF 21 Finale), when she submitted Magana via guillotine choke in the third round of the contest.
Waterson was previously awaiting a new opponent after her originally slated counterpart Aisling Daly had been forced to pull out of the contest with an injury of her own.
No official announcement has been made on the Fight Night 93 contest, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more…
