Paulo Costa Smashes Johny Hendricks Inside Two Rounds

Johny Hendricks couldn’t withstand the punching power of Paulo Costa.

The two took to the center of the Octagon and the fight was underway. Costa connected with a leg kick followed by a hard body kick. He landed another kick to the body. Hendricks moved forward with strikes, but couldn’t connect. Hendricks ate a knee to the body trying to get a hold of his opponent.

Costa walked down Hendricks and landed a knee to the body. Hendricks tried to shoot, but nothing doing. Hendricks got in a couple of left hands and a leg kick. A knee to the body was there for Costa followed by a left hand near the end of the round.

Hendricks continued to go to the leg kicks and was poked in the eye. Time resumed and Costa was all over him. He landed a hard right hand and Hendricks tried getting a takedown. A partially blocked head kick had Hendricks wobbling back. A few strikes later and referee “Big” John McCarthy had seen enough.
