Strikeforce Diaz vs. Daley Recap and Analysis

Paul Daley was walking into hostile territory Saturday night in San Diego. The fans may have been in the 619, but they brought the atmosphere of Stockton, California to the Valley View Casino Center. It was clear that Paul Daley was public enemy number one and they couldn’t wait to see Mr. 209 himself, Nick Diaz enter the six-sided cage. As soon as Diaz made his walk into the cage, the whole arena exploded. This was the main event and the first major Strikeforce event under ZUFFA’s rule. Even UFC president

And we can’t forget the 2 round wrestlefest of Sharmar Bailey vs. Nordin Ashrih with Sharmar getting the unanimous decision. Like I said not the most fun episode, but it’s just

Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris Leben set for UFC 132 in July

It appears Middleweights Chris Leben and Wanderei Silva will get what they’ve been asking for, as the two are now set to meet at UFC 132 in July. The match-up was announced Monday via UFC.com. Talks of the two sluggers meeting first began following Leben’s impressive submission victory over Yoshirio Akiyama at UFC 116. Afterward, “The Crippler” asked for a shot at Silva, whom he had stepped in for when an injury forced the Brazilian out of the bout with Akiyama just two weeks ahead of the match-up.
