According to a report from MMAFighting.com and officially announced on UFC.com the trilogy between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard will have to wait. Both fighters suffered injuries during their respective training camps. To replace Edgar and Maynard for the main event at UFC 130 will be Quinton Jackson vs. Matt Hamill and the co-main event of Frank Mir vs. Roy Nelson. As a big fan of BJ Penn, I really held a grudge against Frankie Edgar and had relatively no interest in the UFC 125 main event. It was a last minute PPV buy and I had a bad feeling in my stomach I would regret it, but I was pleasantly surprised when the UFC kicked off the New Year with a bang.
