The Nevada State Athletic Commission has confirmed with Lowkick.com that 11 fighters from UFC 148 have been suspended for medical reasons. Chael Sonnen and Forrest Griffin who each fought different bouts in the Co-main event, are at the top of the list. Sonnen lost his rematch to UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva by TKO, while Griffin defeated UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz in Ortiz’s farewell bout.

Lowkick.com just obtained the list of disclosed salaries from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for UFC 148.  UFC 148 took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card, including UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva’s second-round TKO of Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz’s farewell fight, aired on pay-per-view following preliminary fights on FX and Facebook. The total disclosed payroll for the event was $1,438,000.
