Norman Parke Cruises To Decision Win Over Reza Madadi

Having lost his last two bouts, Norman Parke (21-4-1) looked to get back on track with a victory at UFC Fight Night 76. To do so, he needed overcome Reza Madadi (13-4), who hadn’t competed since 2013.

“Stormin” got his way over “Mad Dog” on this night (Oct. 24, 2015).

The Dublin fans rooted for Parke in the early going. “Stormin” blocked a leg kick and landed an uppercut. Madadi blocked a high kick and pressed Parke against the fence. They separated and Parke dug at the body of “Mad Dog.”

Round two was underway and Parke landed some leg kicks and had his high kick blocked. “Stormin” popped Madadi with a jab. Madadi whiffed two uppercuts. “Mad Dog” brought Parke down briefly. Parke popped Madadi with some shots and pressed him against the fence. The round ended with Madadi still pressed against the cage.

With the final round underway, Parke continued to pick apart Madadi with kicks. “Stormin” landed a jab followed by a right hand. A knee to the body found its home for Parke. Madadi snuck in a jab and an uppercut. Parke completed a takedown on “Mad Dog.” The fight ended with Parke pressuring Madadi against the fence.

The result was academic.

Final Result: Norman Parke def. Reza Madadi via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
