Nate Marquardt reveals he is no longer using TRT

Former UFC contender Nathan Marquardt opens up in an interview from MMAFighting.com. He admits that he is no longer using TRT after he was controversially cut by Zuffa last year. Marquardt explained the reasons why he used TRT, including allergies and sleep apnea, but admits that using it may have hindered his dreams coming true. He stated the following:

“I didn’t know if I was going to be able to fulfill my dreams going that route I just feel it was so much of a hassle and stress with the commissions and all that, I guess, that the right thing for me to do right now is to choose not to do it.”

Marquardt also touched on his upcoming Strikeforce Welterweight championship bout with Tyron Woodley, saying he will make it a fight and not a boring wrestling match. Overall a good informative interview with someone who has recently been out of the limelight.
