Nate Diaz Highlights His Boxing Skills Using Footage From UFC 196

Nate Diaz

Nate Diaz wants to remind everyone about his elite-level boxing.

The MMA icon decided to do just that on Tuesday when he uploaded a montage from his first fight with Conor McGregor.

Diaz shocked the world back in March 2016 when he beat up ‘Notorious’ on the feet before taking the Irishman to the floor and submitting him inside two rounds.

The post was captioned: “Don’t forget what’s what u lil bitches.”

It also included a visual of a tweet Diaz sent back in October, which reads.

“@TheNotoriousMMA My boxing’s piss? I banked on ur face, turned u into a wrestler, and then chocked u bitch in reality your whole country and belongings are mine. plus I made that fight and u took the bait. then I made masvidals bitchasss. don’t forget I make this whole shit spin”

What’s Next For Nate Diaz?

Diaz hasn’t fought since suffering a unanimous decision defeat against Leon Edwards at UFC 263. The UFC fan favourite was outclassed for large parts of the bout but almost scored a KO win in the fifth and final frame when he badly wobbled ‘Rocky’.

Diaz could soon be one of the biggest free agents in MMA history. The 36-year-old has just one fight left on his UFC contract and has shown no interest in re-signing with the promotion who have extended his contract into the new year.

The BJJ and boxing specialist was hoping to complete his contract in January in a fight with Dustin Poirier who is fresh off a lightweight title loss. However, that now appears unlikely and it is becoming unclear who Diaz will face in what could be his final UFC fight.

Once he becomes a free agent Diaz can look forward to huge paydays, potentially in other sports – he is towards the top of Jake Paul’s list of desirable opponents.
