It’s weigh-in day at LowKick for tomorrow night’s anticipated (Sat., June 13, 2015) UFC 188 from Mexico City, Mexico, and the UFC rolls on with the fifth episode of their UFC 188 Embedded v-log series.

This week’s series has featured a large amount of drama due to interim heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum’s smack talk about champion Cain Velasquez’s Mexican heritage, but that beef takes a back seat, at least for a minute, to some of the other fighters on the card in this episode.

Women’s strawweight contender Tecia Torres gets some online exposure with a picture by the pool with fellow main card fighter Johnny Case, who pushes her into the pool after a hot tub session.

The tone changes to one that’s more serious when former heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos arrives to break down the UFC 188 main event, noting that Werdum can potentially put Velasquez on his back for once. He also says he’s very interested in the bout, of which he hopes to face the winner.

Next the main card fighters participate in the UFC 188 Media Day at the Hyatt Regency in Mexico City, with co-main event participants Gilbert Melendez and Eddie Alvarez engaging in some interviews before the traditional pre-fight staredowns, where Velasquez and Werdum close the video with an especially intense faceoff heading into their increasingly more personal grudge match this Saturday night.
