Ronda Rousey: Bethe Correia Is Going To Look Different Walking Out Of UFC 190

Heading into her main event bout with Bethe Correia at August’s UFC 190 from Rio de Janeiro, undefeated UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has a grudge to pick with the rising Brazilian fighter.

Most of that stems from Correia’s recent wins over Rousey’s ‘Four Horsewomen’ stable mates Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler, and the rivalry was furthered by ‘Pitbull’ incessant trash talk to build up the fight.

Apparently it’s worked quite well, as ‘Rowdy’ recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to detail how she’s going to take Correia out. According to Rousey, the result won’t be quite as quick and merciful as her recent victories in the Octagon:

“The thing is, I just want to beat her in the most devastatingly, embarrassing way possible. I’m not afraid to let go of the hometown advantage. She’s much more than a hometown advantage away from beating me. If I make the fight fast, that means I like you. That’s me at my most merciful. With this next chick that I don’t like, it’s not going to be like that. She’s going to look different walking out than she did walking in.”

Ouch. Sounds like Correia could have serious problems on her hands when she steps into the Octagon to face the world’s No. 4-ranked pound-for-pound fighter in Brazil. Will it be another quick finish for ‘Rowdy,’ or will she draw it out to make the fight as brutal as advertised?
