Mike Tyson vows to defeat Jake Paul ‘Very painfully’

Sharing the stage last night with incoming foe, Jake Paul ahead of their rescheduled boxing match at the end of the year, former world heavyweight champion star, Mike Tyson has vowed to defeat the outspoken Ohio native “very painfully” when they share the squared-circle.

Tyson, a former undisputed heavyweight world champion boxer, was scheduled to take on the surging Paul earlier this summer, before a medical condition including a flare up of a prior ulcer condition, forced his withdrawal from a matchup – and cancelling the pairing.

For Paul, the outspoken puncher remained on the July card, taking on former UFC welterweight contender and BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) star, Mike Perry – stopping the Flint native with a spectacular sixth round knockout win in Tampa, Florida.

And now rebooked to take on New York knockout savage Tyson on a Netflix broadcast pay-per-view card in November – the latter has vowed to finish Paul with a “painful” finish when they finally settle their differences in a much-scrutinized boxing fight.

“Very painfully,” Mike Tyson warned Jake Paul during their press conference overnight in New York. “Be in shape. Be in good shape because your health depends on it.”

Hitting out at Tyson, Paul claimed the renowned knockout kingpin was just a “mitt warrior” – claiming he was unsure if the veteran still retained his stunning stopping power of years gone by.

“I think he’s (Mike Tyson) a mitt warrior,” Jake Paul replied. “The Instagram videos are cute but we’ll see what happens in the ring on November 15. At the end of the day, we’ll see if he’s still got it.”

“Listen, as soon as I catch this guy, he’s going to be running around,” Mike Tyson responded. “As soon as I catch this guy, it’s going to be totally over. He’s going to run like a thief.”
