UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate is on top of the world following her big win over Holly Holm at UFC 196.

UFC President Dana White said after UFC 196 that Ronda Rousey vs. Tate 3 is set for later this year. However, that changed as the UFC announced on Wednesday that Tate would be making her first title defense against Amanda Nunes at UFC 200. That fight is expected to be a part of the big three fights on that card as it’s the biggest UFC event of 2016.

Tate will always be tied to Rousey and during her appearance on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight, Tate was asked if Rousey deserves a title shot when she returns. Tate said yes, and that Rousey was “the best female fighter on the planet for a long time.”

Rousey is expected to return later this year, and all signs point to the UFC booking another fight between Tate and Rousey.

That would be a trilogy fight for the two fighters. Rousey has beaten Tate twice. Rousey beat Tate in March of 2012 by first-round armbar then in December of 2013 at UFC 168; Rousey submitted Tate with an armbar in the third round.
