Miesha Tate Goes Off On ‘Emotionally Unstable’ Ronda Rousey
UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate will always be linked to former champ Ronda Rousey. Even when she is not fighting Rousey, she is talking about her. Tate recently spoke with RJ Clifford and Steve Cofield on SiriusXM Rush Fight Club.
While Tate talked about Conor McGregor and her upcoming fight, Tate also talked about Rousey, whom Tate believes is emotionally unstable.
“I think Ronda is somewhat emotionally unstable, and I think that’s been characteristic for a long time. Doesn’t mean she fights any worse for it. I’m not knocking her as an athlete, but emotionally she’s just got some things that are a little bit strange.”
“I feel like you can tell a lot about a person who, if they’re nice to people that they don’t have to be nice to or if they’re not nice to people that they don’t have to be nice to, and I feel like things that sometimes people don’t see on the massive media outlets is the way Ronda is behind scenes.”
Rousey is expected to return later this year, and it appears that the UFC is waiting to have Rousey fight in November at the first UFC event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Tate is set to make her first title defense when she fights Amanda Nunes at UFC 200.
