Mickey Gall Vows To Break Sage Northcutt’s Bones

Following his first round submission win over CM Punk at UFC 203 last month, Mickey Gall called out fellow top prospect Sage Northcutt for a fight. The UFC brass got wind of the call out and made the bout official at UFC on FOX 22.

Gall recently spoke with TMZ Sports about the fight and he had a lot to say about his opponent. According to Gall, he thinks this fight will go the distance and will not end in the first round like his previous fights have ended. Gall vowed to put a beating on Northcutt and break his bones.

“I’m gonna do a lot to him. I don’t see this one being one round. I see this being longer than that and I’m gonna break his bones. I’m gonna hurt him bad. I’m gonna bust him up, break his bones, tear things. I’m gonna put a beating on him…His boxing sucks. His ground game is pretty bad. So there’s holes on both sides. I know how I’m gonna fight him. It’s gonna be bad for him. He’s gonna feel like crap.”

Despite the trash talk, Gall made it clear that he doesn’t dislike him but thinks he is a dork and can’t wait to get his hands on him.

“I don’t dislike him. I think he’s very corny. I think he’s like a silly boy. I don’t know, I think he’s kind of a dork but I don’t hate him at all. I love him. I can’t wait to fight him, can’t wait to get my hands on him.”

Gall has said in previous interviews that they should have a stipulation on the line for this fight like a good ole pro wrestling match. Gall suggested a loser’s hair leaves town bet on their fight. It should be noted that Northcutt never responded to the challenge, but Gall says the offer is still on the table.

“Heck yeah, why not? I put it out there. I didn’t hear anything from him but hey, if I lose I’ll cut my hair, but I ain’t losing. You can see a bald blond boy.”

Gall thinks after winning a few fights, down the road, he’ll be UFC welterweight champion.

“I’m gonna be a UFC champion. I don’t know a timetable, those things are hard to say but eventually I’ll be UFC champion.”

UFC on FOX 22 takes place on December 17th at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. No other bouts have been announced for the event.
