Medical Suspensions For UFC 193 Announced
With every decision comes a consequence and for those fighters who took part in battle this past at UFC 193, it’s their time to faces those consequences in the form of medical suspensions.
Some of the more notable suspensions include Ronda Rousey being out for 180 days or cleared by negative head CT scan while Holly Holm will only be out for 7 days. Joanna Jedrzejczyk is out of action for 180 days after suffering an injury to her hand. Her opponent, Valerie Letourneau, is out 180 days.
UFC 193 took place on November 14, 2015 (in the U.S) from Melbourne, Australia at Etihad Stadium. This event aired on pay-per-view, FOX Sports 1, and UFC Fight Pass.
The main event of the event was Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm for the UFC women’s bantamweight championship while Joanna Jedrzejczyk defended her strawweight championship against Valerie Letourneau in the co-main event.
