McGregor’s Coach Responds To Jones’ Grappling Challenge: Beg Me
Although he’s currently suspended from competing in mixed martial arts, former UFC light heavyweight champion and former pound-for-pound king Jon “Bones” Jones recently returned to action in the form of a grappling match, submitting Dan Henderson earlier this month (Dec. 11, 2016) at Submission Underground 3. Jones also called out Chael Sonnen, who promotes Submission Underground, for next month’s Submission Underground 3.
In the time since submitting Henderson, “Bones” has received various grappling challenges, most notably from former UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Frank Mir. This led the former 205-pound titleholder to take to his official Twitter account earlier today to issue a challenge to all black belts, asking ‘who’s tapping next’:
Man, such a big target on my back. Got all these black belts out to get me. Who’s tapping next #SUG3

Surprisingly, Jones received an answer from decorated Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Dillon Danis, who also happens to be a notable training partner and cornerman for UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor. Taking a page out of the “Notorious” one’s book, Danis told Jones to ‘beg’ him:
@JonnyBones beg me.
