Max Holloway vs. Charles Oliveira Video Highlights

Dangerous rising featherweights Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira were supposed to throw down in a hotly contested scrap in the main event of tonight’s (Sun., August 23, 2015) UFC Fight Night 74 from the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Unfortunately it never came to be, however, as Oliveira hurt his shoulder off of an early first round takedown attempt and was unable to continue when Holloway motioned for the fight to resume back on its feet.

It was an anticlimactic ending to what could have been one of the most exciting fights of the year, but Holloway picked up his seventh straight victory since losing to Conor McGregor nonetheless.

He didn’t exactly accomplish as much as his possibly overemotional post-fight celebration would suggest, yet ‘Blessed’ could be headed for a critical showdown with Frankie Edgar. Watch the short video highlights of the too-short main event above.
