Matt Mitrione Campaigning To Fight Ben Rothwell At UFC Fight Night 76
As noted earlier on the site, UFC heavyweight Stipe Miocic has pulled out of his scheduled bout with Ben Rothwell at UFC Fight Night 76 due to an undisclosed injury.
Miocic’s manager, Greg Kalikas, said via text that the injury was “not serious, just bad timing.” Kalikas added that Miocic plans to fight before the end of the year.
The UFC is currently seeking a replacement fighter for Miocic, and there are plenty of fighters waiting to step in.
Matt Mitrione and Tyrone Spong are the ones who openly protested for the fight via Twitter. It should be noted that Mitrione is scheduled to fight Travis Browne in January.

UFC Fight Night 76 takes place on October 24, 2015, at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The entire event will air on UFC Fight Pass.
