Matt Mitrione & Antonio Silva Exchange Heated Words On Twitter
antMatt Mitrione (9-4) is coming off a devastating submission loss to Ben Rothwell at UFC Fight Night 68 and is looking to get his next fight lined up.
Ideally the fight would take place at UFC 193.
Mitrione chose to take a page out of Chael Sonnen’s playbook as he has called out an opponent instead of waiting around for the UFC to call him and let him know who he’s fighting next.
Mitrione revealed on Twitter that he would like to fight Antonio Silva (19-7-1) next.
Hey @BigfootSilva you have plans for ufc193? It's in Australia and I could use another stamp on my passport… @danawhite @ufc

Silva responded to Mitrione on Twitter and had a great exchange.
@jucao @Hype_BZ @BigfootSilva dude, who are you? Why are you even writing me? You're a coach standing up for your fighter? Id be embarrassed

Yeah you're right, it'd hurt your career to get starched again but by a top 15 guy. Rankings mean nothing. https://t.co/A3kyKiwGjm
