The Ultimate Fighter Latin America (TUF: Latin America) season three final took place at UFC Fight Night 98. The two lightweight competitors vying for a victory were Martin Bravo (11-0) and Claudio Puelles (7-2).

Bravo walked out of Mexico City Arena with a shinny TUF: Latin America trophy and an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contract.

Right away, Bravo landed a leg kick. Puelles went for a single leg takedown, but “Toro” returned to his feet. “El Nino” went for a spinning elbow, but found air. Bravo pushed the pace and blood trickled from the nose of Puelles. Bravo was taken down by a single leg. “Toro” was able to stand up quickly. Bravo dared Puelles to trade with him. He landed a right hand and Puelles landed a kick to the body. “Toro” landed a clean right hand to the jaw and the round ended shortly after.

Puelles threw a kick early in the second stanza, but it was parried and he lost balance. Some jabs from Bravo pierced through the defense of his opponent. “Toro’s” combination that ended in a liver strike dropped “El Nino” and he landed the finished blows to earn the TKO win.
