Mark Hunt: ‘Sorry About My Unemployment Tweet… I Was Hungry’

So, the reason for Mark Hunt tweeting that he was unemployed has been revealed… and it’s a strange one to say the least.

Earlier this week Hunt posted several messages on his Twitter account making it sound like he had been terminated from the UFC:

But, that news was shot out of the water by UFC president Dana White who fired back saying the news was “false” and “the most stupid thing he’s ever heard””.

While White’s comments gave fans some reassurance, Hunt himself still remained quiet about the situation until last night when he offered a vague explanation to his fans:

With all that all cleared up, we can get back to looking forward to the 40-year olds collision with TUF 10 winner Roy Nelson in September. Hunt vs. Nelson are set to headline UFC Fight Night 52 which takes place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
