Kimbo vs Mitrione is official for UFC 113 on May 8th

Kimbo Silce will make his second appearance in the octagon against his former roommate Matt Mitrione at UFC 113. Recently rumors have been flying around saying that Kimbo has dropped out of the fight and will likely face James Toney, however, these rumors are false because recently Kimbo vs Mitrione has been made official and he will be heading to Montreal on May 8th.

Kimbo is coming made a successful UFC debut at the Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale, where he defeated Houston Alexander via Unanimous Decision and now he will face the man who knocked out Kimbo’s roommate/sparring partner in TUF 10 Matt Mitrione.

Mitrione, who made his professional debut at TUF 10 Finale, convincingly knocked out Marcus “The Darkness” Jones, and will try to go for 2-0 inside The Octagon as he will take on the heavy handed Kimbo Silce.

Other fights on UFC 113 card are; Machida vs Shogun rematch for the Light Heavyweight title and a grudge match between Paul Daley and Josh Koscheck.
