Khabib Tells GSP To ‘Send Him Location’ Instead Of Retiring

Khabib Nurmagomedov St-Pierre

This morning, news arrived that legendary former UFC champion Georges St-Pierre will announce his retirement at a press conference in Montreal tomorrow.

The announcement will supposedly come on the heels of St-Pierre’s failed attempt to get a fight with UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov. That was one of very few fights St-Pierre was willing to return to after he vacated the UFC middleweight title in late 2017.

But with it off the table, St-Pierre apparently felt there was nothing left for him to prove because there wasn’t. However, Khabib isn’t willing to let one of his MMA idols walk away yet. Khabib posted a plea to GSP on his Instagram offering the legend a fight in November. The locations could be many, he just needed to send one:

“Let’s do it in November. After this fight you can retire. I grow up on your fights, and have nothing but respect for you, and I believe showed that to you George when you were in Moscow.

“””But, it would be honor for me to share Octagon with one of the greatest fighters of all time. Let’s do it 155 lbs, or I give away 5lbs to you, cause you newer done 155. Well, it’s your choice 155 or 160, Montreal, NYC, Moscow or Abu Dhabi. Send me location my Friend”””
