Khabib Nurmagomedov Comeback Pushed Back Yet Again
Khabib Nurmagomedov was set to fight for the No. 1 contender status against Donald Cerrone at May’s UFC 187 PPV event before a knee injury forced him to withdraw and begin a long road to recovery.
His return was supposed to be soon, but those plans have been changed.
Nurmagomedov is reportedly now shooting for a December return according to Ariel Helwani.
Holding a professional record of 22-0 with his most recent win against current UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos, Nurmagomedov is one of the most feared fighters in a stacked division
Nurmagomedov was recently in the headlines after getting into a scuffle with the Diaz brothers at WSOF 22 this past Saturday night.
No word on who his opponent could be.
