Junior Dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem Official For December
It’s finally official, the UFC heavyweight battle that we’ve been waiting years for. Alistair Overeem and Junior Dos Santos have been involved in a back-and-forth since their UFC 146/UFC 160 bookings, and will now finally square off after a prolonged period of trash talking and speculation.
It seems Overeem’s ‘Do Nothing Bitch’ comments hit home with ‘Cigano’ as the UFC took to Twitter to announce the bout for the December UFC on FOX 17 card headlined by Rafael Dos Anjos vs. Donald Cerrone:

Yet another Greg Jackson‘s fighter with a huge fight coming up, and the heavyweight division seems whole again with this dream booking of knockout strikers. ”Cigano’, a former UFC heavyweight champion taking on the K-1 heavyweight boss in the octagon, it has a really cool ring to it! The battle between JDS and ‘The Reem’ will serve as co-main event to the Orlando based card.
As well as this blockbuster fight for the heavyweight division, there’s Dos Anjos vs. Cerrone 2, Michael Johnson vs. Nate Diaz, McCrory vs. Samman, Dooloway vs. Marquardt-what a great looking card it is, as the UFC continues to build up the second half of 2015 with a hot streak of awesome matchmaking.
