UFC 187 just keeps on growing with great fights. The card, which is being headlined by two title fights, is set to go down on May 23, 2015 from Las Vegas, Nevada, and may very well be the most stacked card since UFC 100.

In the main event reigning light heavyweight champion and pound-for-pound king Jon “Bones” Jones puts his title on the line against the surging Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, while Chris Weidman defends his middleweight title against controversial Brazilian Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort in the co-main event.

Also on the main card, top ranked lightweights Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov will take part in a long-awaited battle that will likely be a title eliminator bout at 155-pounds.

However, that is not all, as heavyweight sluggers Travis Browne and Andrei Arlovski will face off, as well as notable flyweights Joseph Benavidez and John Moraga. Top flyweight contender John Dodson also makes his return from injury on this card.

Today (March 2, 2015), the UFC has announced yet another intriguing bout, to this already blockbuster card, as veteran lightweight Josh “The People’s Warrior” Burkman will meet “Stun Gun” Dong Hyun Kim in a lightweight scrap, confirmed by MMAJunkie.

This is actually Burkman’s second run in the UFC, his first ending in 2008. He returned at UFC 182 on January 3, 2015, but was not very successful losing a unanimous decision to Hector Lombard. However, the decision may be overturned due to Lombard testing positive for performance enhancing drugs (PEDs).

Kim is coming off of a loss as well. He was riding a four-fight win streak until he met Tyron Woodley last August and was blasted by a huge shot, losing by way of first-round TKO.
