In reality, we still know very little about the situation regarding troubled former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones. To sum it up, the Jackson-Wink product was notified by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) of a potential anti-doping violation last Wednesday (July 6, 2016) and subsequently pulled from his scheduled UFC 200 (July 9, 2016) headliner with Daniel Cormier just days’ prior to the event.

Now days after the monumental UFC 200 card, we have yet to be made aware of what exactly Jones tested positive for and what the future may hold for him in terms of consequences. “Bones” will, however, meet with the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) next week at a hearing scheduled for July 18, 2016.

MMAFighting.com’s Shaun Al-Shatti broke the news via his official Twitter account, indicating that the NSAC will hold a ‘hearing on extension of temporary suspension’ for Jones, although he doesn’t expect much more to take place:

Perhaps we’ll have to wait longer to find out more details regarding Jones, but at least the process is moving along in a timely fashion. What outcome are you expecting for the former pound-for-pound king?
