Jon Jones’ Electrifying Post-Fight Interview
UFC 182 went down tonight (January 3, 2015) live on pay-per-view (PPV) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event featured a highly anticipated grudge match between reigning UFC light heavyweight champion and pound-for-pound king Jon “Bones” Jones and No. 1 contender Daniel “DC” Cormier.
Many actually picked Cormier to be the man to finally take the belt away from Jones, but the champion once again proved why he is the No. 1 fighter in the world right now, ultimately dominating the fight on route to a unanimous decision win.
After the fight, despite time being limited to the pay-per-view being so long, Jones had a very interesting interview with commentator Joe Rogan. Obviously fired up with the big win, Jones showed the fans that there is still bad blood between the two competitors, even acknowledging that he was being classless.
It seems as if one of the biggest rivalries the sport has ever seen is not over. Check out the champion’s full post fight interview below:
