Former UFC light-heavyweight champion is looking jacked, he must be at least 250 pounds, and he has announced his comeback date too….

It’s been a long and troubled journey for ex-UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones, as he’s faced controversy following a failed UFC 182 drug test and an infamous New Mexico hit and run that could’ve seen ‘Bones’ jailed for five years. As it stands, Jones was lucky not to get locked up, and has been reinstated by the UFC. Resorting to trolling current lhw champ Daniel Cormier over social media, Jones’ inevitable comeback just keeps getting more interesting.

A number of recent videos showing Jones putting in hard work in the gym have made frequent appearances over the recent weeks, and now ‘Bones’ sends an update to Instagram looking like a freaking monster. He could easily be competing at heavyweight with that big physique. Check it out:

April 23rd can be linked to UFC 198 at Madison Square Gardens, but remember that all relies on the UFC winning the never ending battle against New York. The state refuses to legalize MMA, mainly due to corruption and the influence of boxing, so calling his return date for April might be a sure bet, but the location s indeed still hanging in the balance.

We’ve certainly never seen Jones looking so massive, and it leads to a few interesting questions. How will it translate in to his striking speed, and what about his pre-fight weight cut? With the current champion Daniel Cormier looking better than ever in performances against Anthony Johnson and Alexander Gustafsson, odds are the rematch with ‘Bones’ could be a ton better than their first meeting last January.
