John Lineker Crumbles Michael McDonald In First Round, Calls Out Dominick Cruz

The main event of UFC Fight Night 91 featured a bantamweight clash. In the biggest fight of his career, John Lineker (28-7) fought Michael McDonald (17-4). Heading into their bout, the two had a combined 21 knockouts and 10 submissions.

“Hands of Stone” rose to the occasion in devastating fashion.

The two traded leg kicks at the start of the opening frame. Lineker unloaded on punches, but they mostly found air. McDonald popped Lineker with a left hand. A right hand sent “Mayday” to the mat. McDonald fired back with a combination. “Hands of Stone” connected with an uppercut. Linker blasted McDonald with a left hook and he finished it off with some more strikes.

After the bout, Lineker grabbed a hold of Jon Anik’s microphone and made it clear, “Dominick Cruz, I’m coming for you.
