Current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson will throw leather with John Dodson a second time at UFC 191 on Sept. 5, 2015 in Las Vegas. Of course the 125-pound title will once again be on the line.

“”The Magician” spoke with Kenny Florian and Daniel Cormier at UFC Tonight to express his opinion on “Mighty Mouse’s” connection or lack thereof with the UFC fans:

“”Fighting Demetrious Johnson on pay-per-view at UFC 191 is gonna be awesome because I get to do something that no one else has. I’m gonna bring a bigger crowd to the fight. Nobody wants to see Demetrious Johnson, they’d rather see me any day of the week.”

Dodson got off to a hot start in his first title bout with Johnson at UFC on FOX 6. Unfortunately for “The Magician” his momentum cooled down and the champion was able to capitalize en route to a unanimous decision win. Dodson explained why that won’t be the case in the rematch:

“My cardio sucked, I’m not even gonna lie. You can’t sit there and be like, ‘oh yeah I had the best cardio,’ no my cardio sucked. I didn’t have a strength and conditioning coach at that time. I had my old training camp and my old views of what I wanted to do. Now I do have a strength and conditioning coach so cardio won’t be an issue. I got so excited and I got caught up in the moment. I felt like a kid in a candy store for being in my first main event, I was fighting for a title and the other thing was I was fighting on FOX.”

It appears that Dominick Cruz isn’t the only competitor throwing shade at the current bantamweight kingpin, TJ Dillashaw. Dodson knocked out Dillashaw back in 2011 and feels history will repeat itself if they meet again:

“I’ve already beat Demetrious Johnson once and people are telling me I need to do it again. So, I’ll get that title and then when I beat up Demetrious Johnson, I’ll go and beat up TJ Dillashaw. He can run around telling everyone that I’m just running my mouth, but I’ve seen him with his eyes glazed over and having Herb Dean cuddle him after I knocked him out that last time. I can do it again.”
