John Cena turns heel in absolutely insane ending to WWE Elimination Chamber

John Cena

Ladies and gentlemen, do not scratch your eyes – you really are seeing the most incredible story in the history of professional wrestling unfold. John Cena, the greatest of all time, has officially turned heel.

In the main event of WWE Elimination Chamber, John Cena defeated five other men to book his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 41. Then, in the immediate aftermath of the match, Cody Rhodes came down to the ring to celebrate with John – before giving The Rock an emphatic answer to the question he’d asked a few weeks back.

Cody told Rock to “go f***” himself, turning down the prospect of becoming his corporate champion. Then, just moments later, The Rock activated John Cena as if he was the Winter Soldier – and in the blink of an eye, the Doctor of Thuganomics nailed The American Nightmare with a low blow and completed the greatest heel turn of all time.

He was the ultimate company man. He was the standard bearer. He was the GOAT. But in one of the riskiest and most incredible booking decisions of the last few decades, Cena turned to the dark side. He aligned himself with The Rock, and he will enter his final ever WrestleMania as a heel.
