Joe Duffy vs. Ivan Jorge Full Fight Video Highlights

Well known for having the dubious distinction of being the last man to defeat interim UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, rising Irish lightweight Joe Duffy sought to continue making his own name for himself when he faced off with veteran Ivan Jorge on the main card of today’s (Sat., July 18, 2015) UFC Fight Night 72 from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.

And ‘Irish Joe’ did just that, capitalizing on an awkward takedown from Jorge to cinch in a slick triangle choke that forced him to tap just over three minutes into the fight, earning him his second straight win and his first $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus in the process.

Added to his debut, a first round knockout of Jake Lindsey, Duffy is quickly becoming known as a force to be reckoned with, and could find himself with a steep step up in competition in the stacked UFC lightweight division.
