Featuring the first-ever title fight aired on UFC Fight Pass, UFC Fight Night 69 is set to take place this Saturday, June 20th at 3 p.m. ET from O2 World Arena in Berlin, Germany.

The women’s strawweight division is only seven months old, and there has already been two champions. In December, Carla Esparza defeated Rose Namajunas at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 Finale in Las Vegas to be crowned the first-ever strawweight champion in UFC history.

The praise only lasted a short while, as Esparza was completely dismantled by Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 185:

This weekend, Jedrzejczyk will look to write her name in the history books as the first woman to defend the strawweight belt. With the division being so new, there are many raw fighters and the future will almost certainly bring about many fresh and exciting names. For right now, Jedrzejczyk is trying to prove her supremacy.

The Polish-born fighter has a bright smile, spunky attitude, and most importantly, she is an incredible fighter. She boasts a 9-0 record, and could be recognized heavily if she leaves Germany with a win this weekend.

Standing across the cage from Jedrzejczyk is Jessica Penne, a fighter who has been waiting for this moment since she saw Esparza win the belt back in December. While Jedrzejcyzk is looking to make history this weekend, the 32-year-old Penne is looking to steal the spotlight from the aptly named ‘Joanna Champion.’
