Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are set to face off on November 15, 2023 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The scheduled bout is highly anticipated as many people continue to make their predictions for the boxing legend facing the social media sensation. Some former opponents of Paul have made their predictions on what they expect to happen when the two finally clash.

Jake Paul’s former opponents Ben Askren & Mike perry Share Predictions

Jake Paul is entering this fight boasting a 10-1 record including 7 KOs that include both ex-UFC fighters Ben Askren and Mike Perry. Tyson is 58-years-old entering the fight while Paul is 27, a 31-year age gap between the two. Askren, who was easily knocked out by Jake Paul shared his thoughts on the fight.

“I feel like that’s how it’s gonna go, it’s gonna be competitive early. 58 is old and he’s probably gonna get tired and, yeah. But the gas tank and all the other things that go with it definitely go downhill, especially when you haven’t been doing it very competitively,” said Askren.

Askren was knocked out by Paul in the first round in their matchup so he understands that he isn’t an easy matchup. While Paul holds the youth and prime advantage, a 58-year-old Tyson still possesses immense power and has a clear experience advantage over “The Problem Child.”

Mike Perry Talks about his Prediction

Ex-UFC fighter and BKFC star Mike Perry was another opponent who was defeated by Paul as well. In July he replaced Mike Tyson but ultimately fell to the hands of the rising boxer. While Perry put up a fight, he also was picked apart by Jake Paul who Perry thinks can find success against Tyson.

I think you win. I think you’re younger and I think you’re doing the right things as far as what your team has you doing, it works. I wasn’t able to add anything up on you, I wasn’t able to have you punch yourself out, I wasn’t able to get you on the ropes where I could release a flurry,” said Perry in an interview with Jake Paul himself.

Based off both predictions, Paul’s former opponents expect the elder Tyson to tire out given his age. As former opponents of Paul, they both respect him and his boxing abilities given their prediction. It’ll be interesting to see how the fight unfolds and whether or not Tyson can prove his age does’t matter.
