Israel Adesanya Predicts Raiders Stadium Fight With Jon Jones: ‘Mark My Words’

Jones Adesanya

Israel Adesanya foresees a future fight with UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones happening. And he believes it will take place at the new Las Vegas Stadium.

Adesanya and Jones have been going back-and-forth on social media ever since the week of UFC 236 back in April. Most recently, Jones mocked Adesanya’s size, claiming he was “light in the a*s.”

This past weekend, Adesanya was in attendance for UFC 239 where he witnessed Jones defend his light heavyweight title against Thiago Santos in the main event. And according to “The Last Stylebender,” Jones is not that big either:

“I saw him after he weighed in, he was trying to shake the cakes,” Adesanya said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on Monday. “That’s nothing, he’s light in the a*s. Look at him, he looks like a f*cking dorito with chopsticks or toothpicks for legs. He’s calling me skinny? Last time, someone called me skinny, when I crouched in front of him, I said, ‘let’s go b*tch, I’ll show you skinny.’ And I used my f*cking toothpicks, chopsticks to crack him in the head.

“I saw him [Jones] live. He doesn’t have it. He was great when he was fighting when there wasn’t USADA. But now, he might need to get back on the pictograms if he wants to be great again.”

Jones vs. Adesanya At Raiders Stadium

Given their trash talk, it seems like Adesanya and Jones are destined to collide. The former agrees as he sees it happening at the new Raiders Stadium which is currently in construction:

“It’s going to happen,” Adesanya added. “I decided two days ago when I was in my hotel room. I decided it’s going to happen at Raiders Stadium in Las Vegas. That’s where it’s going to happen. We’re going to sell that b*tch out.

“…It’s going to happen. Raiders Stadium, mark my words. It’s going to happen. See what I do in the next four fights. …Four more fights, let me clear the weight class out first. Then I’m going to jump up and show him what’s up.”
