Undisputed lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev will make his return tomorrow at UFC 311 in a reworked title outing against surging Brazilian challenger, Renato Moicano — with the Brazilian replacing an injury-stricken, Arman Tsarukyan at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

This evening, reports detailing how surging number one ranked contender, Tsarukyan was forced out his UFC 311 title rematch against Russian foe, Makhachev after suffering a back injury whilst cutting weight for his outing tomorrow against the pound-for-pound number one.

And according to UFC CEO, Dana White on his official social media tonight, surging Brazilian contender, Renato Moicano will replace Tsarukyan on just a day’s notice, taking on Makhachev in his premiere title charge during his tenure with the promotion.

Currently rated number ten in the official lightweight rankings, Moicano successfully made 155lbs championship weight for his slated clash with the returning, Beneil Dariush, however, that pairing has now been cast to the wayside.
