Highlights: UFC Prospect Scores Impressive Last-Second Guillotine
Roosevelt Roberts brought a 6-0 record in mixed martial arts (MMA) into his preliminary card bout against Darrel Horcher on the preliminary card of tonight’s (Fri., November 30, 2018) The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 28 Finale from The Pearl at The Palms Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. A first-round guillotine extended that run as a result.
He parlayed a submission win on Dana White‘s Tuesday Night Contenders Series this summer into a spot on TUF 28. Now he has his first official UFC win. And he got there in very impressive fashion because of his grappling skills.
Locking on a tight standing guillotine on the tough Horcher, Roberts got a twisting tapout due to the hold with just 10 seconds left in the first round. Watch it here:
