Happy New Year From LowKick MMA!

With 2013 in the books, we here at LowKick have to give respect to what I feel was the best year of MMA ever fought. There were so many insane cards, knockouts, and controversies that it’s going to be hard to top the past year of fights.

We saw titles changing hands, contenders establish themselves, and we also lost two of the best fighters to ever grace the Octagon in Anderson Silva and Georges St. Pierre, at least for now. It’s been a pleasure to cover all of that for you. LowKick MMA wants to give you our heartfelt appreciation for being the loyal fans that you are.

It was an unbelievable year, and while 2014 is set up to be a transitional period, there’s no doubt in my mind that we can have even more fun with the sport this year.

MMA is growing in scope as a sport and LowKick will continue to grow with it. We couldn’t be happier that all of you are going to be huge part of that. It’s never easy to replace two legends, especially two that were quickly gone within a month-and-a-half, but as in any sport, a new crop of talent will rise to the forefront and carry mixed martial arts into the future.
