Glory World Series First 16 Weigh-in Results and fight card changes

Weigh-ins were held this morning for the Glory World Series (GWS) First 16 Event in Stockholm Sweden for tomorrow’s event. GWS First 16 boasts an assemblage of the biggest names in the kickboxing world including Georgio Petrosyan, Robin van Roosmalen, Nieky Holzkein and Gokhan Saki. Sanny Dahlbeck (23-4) is a Muay Thai fighter from Stockholm, Sweden. He is one of 16 fighters who will be competing in the Glory First 16 event scheduled for May 26  2012 in Sweden against Max Vorovski of Estonia. On May 26, 2012 Glory World Series will hold Glory First 16, a 70kg Championship Kickboxing event at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Glory has signed 16 of the world’s top kickboxers including Giorgio Petrosyan, Albert Kraus, Yoshihiro Sato, Fabio Pinca, Dzhabar Askarov, Ky Hollenback, Qi Chenglong and Kem Sitsongpeenong for these quarterfinals. Badr Hari and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic to return at K-1 Rising 2012

 
It was announced today that Badr Hari and Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic will both return to the K-1 arena  as part of the May 27 K-1 Rising 2012. Set in Madrid, Spain, Hari will be returning to the ring after besting Gokhan Saki earlier this year in a retirement match. K-1 Global and It’s Showtime sign multi-year deal

K-1 has been purchased by a Mr. Mike Kim and rechristened as K-1 Global. Today It’s Showtime announced that they had signed a deal with the new K-1 Global organization.
It’s Showtime issued a press release about the deal, which stated that many fighters from their organization had signed contracts with the company and that they all received signing bonuses of 50 percent of the money that was owed to them from FEG, the former owners of K-1.

Bibiano Fernandes to train with Demetrious Johnson for DREAM GP
