French Striker Cyrille Diabate signs UFC deal

Pride ,Cage Rage and shoxc veteran Diabate has signed a four fight deal with the ufc and is scheduled to fight Luiz cane at ufc 114 on the 29th may at the MGM Grand Garden Arene.The card at ufc 114 is topped by the long awaited grudge match between ex champs at tuf coaches Quinton Jackson and Rashrd Evans.

Diabate,who comes to the UFC with a record of 15-6-1 (9 by ko, 3 by sub) has a Muay Thai and shoot boxing background and is probably most well known for his 2006 Pride fight against mauricio Shogun Rua . In a brutal 5 1/2 minute fight which ended with Diabate being TKO’d by head stomps from Rua.Since then Diabate has stepped back into the limelight with straight wins.

He is also known for being one of Dan Henderson’s striking coaches on TUF 9.
