Francis Ngannou Reacts To Junior Dos Santos’ Challenge

UFC on ESPN 1

Francis Ngannou has reacted to Junior dos Santos’ challenge. Make no mistake about it, these two fighters do have some history.

JDS was flagged for a potential USADA anti-doping violation back in August of 2017. As a result of that violation, he was forced out of his scheduled UFC 215 barnburner against the hard-hitting former title contender Ngannou.

Dos Santos’ team clarified the situation by revealing he had tested positive for the diuretic Hydrochlorothiazide in the August 10 out-of-competition test. This was revealed once a third-party testing organization deemed that dos Santos’ drug test that he failed was due to a contaminated supplement.

JDS picked up a second-round win over Derrick Lewis by TKO in the headliner of UFC on ESPN + 4. This show went down on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. After the fight, the former UFC heavyweight champion laid out the challenge.
