Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao Highlights
Last night’s (Sat., May 2, 2015) boxing “fight of the century” between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao may not have lived up to the almost impossible expectations put forth by the massive amount of hype that was building for years until it finally happened.
Many derided “Money,” who spent most of the fight staying out of the bulldozing Pacquiao’s range while outlanding him with his trademark jab, for being too elusive and not exciting enough for a bout of this magnitude.
His extensive technical expertise was on full display, and a reportedly injured Pacquiao did his best to chase him around the ring to look for repeated power flurries. It may not have been the most heated battle in boxing history, but Mayweather did unify the welterweight titles while keeping his spotless record intact.
